Vision Doeve Brokers

Former sailing estuary freighter / coaster that was built to supply the German Wadden Islands. In 1953 the ship was extended and provided with a raised stern and she was also remotorised. In the 1970s she was put into use as a workship with a crane on deck. This Dutch Barge has been in use as a cruising houseboat since 1985. The current owner sails with the ship throughout Western Europe and has even been to Briare, France. This can be done after everything that can be dismantled to achieve the lowest possible air draft has been removed. She is ready to go. The aft cabin is now in use as a workshop and eventually this could become a cabin again. It is a fully autonomous ship with, among other things, solar panels, generator, inverter, etc. etc. Fully Rhine certified.
