Tugboat 14.80, Jan Lieven II
Vision Doeve Brokers
Flushdeck tugboat that was launched in 1914, with a length of approximately 17 meters, as a mail boat with a steam engine to transport mail and parcels around the Dordrecht area. Around 1930, the boat was shortened and the first diesel engine was installed. The Flushdeck was installed after World War II and the vessel then began her tugboat service. From 1976 the ship was used recreationally .The owners have upgraded many aspects and ensured that it is a comfortable boat, featuring a seating area in the bow, a galley, a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a two-person cabin under the wheelhouse. Additionally, there is another two-person cabin in the aft. The engine is a beautiful 8-cylinder TS117 Kromhout diesel that is placed in a neat well-maintained engine room. In our opinion, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire a tugboat of this caliber, which could also serve as a comfortable living space.
