The legacy of Viudes began over 50 years ago in Barcelona under the name "Astilleros Viudes," known for constructing over 100 luxury yachts, including motor yachts for the Spanish royal family, under the brand Viudes.
Viudes gained global recognition for the quality and expertise a Spanish shipyard could offer the international market.
In 2008, Viudes Yachts was revitalized as an international brand, resuming operations in its original location at the port of Barcelona. This revival aimed to amalgamate the craftsmanship and experience of "Astilleros Viudes" with the contemporary ideas and technologies of Viudes Yachts' new founders.
The culmination of this cooperation materialized in the construction of the Viudes flagship, the 45-meter yacht named M/Y PRIDE, completed and delivered in 2013.
In the past years, Viudes Yachts has collaborated closely with leading shipbuilders worldwide, such as Sanlorenzo, Baglietto, Admiral, Cerri, or Overmarine, to develop a diverse range of fully customizable yacht building projects. These projects span from 24 meters to 62 meters in length, showcasing Viudes Yachts' commitment to excellence and innovation in luxury yacht construction.
