Vision Doeve Brokers
Former inland cargo ship that was originally used for the transport of peat, straw, manure, foam earth and potatoes on the shallow canals of the Groningen Peat Colonies and in Friesland. This Dutch Barge functioned as a houseboat without propulsion for many years until she was fitted with a new superstructure in 2004/2005 and was motorized. After that the barge was fully fitted out for using as a cruising live aboard Dutch Barge. It is a comfortable living with 2 cabins, a spacious lounge, bathroom and in the deckhouse there is the galley with dining table and a sofa bed under the aft deck. She is moored on a rental residential berth in NL-Rotterdam which can be taken over by a new owner after approval of the port. In our view, an ideal houseboat for a student or someone who wants to live in the city in a different way and also have the opportunity to cruise with the ship over the European waterways.
