Dutch Barge IJsselaak 19.59 Under offer
Vision Doeve Brokers
Former sailing inland cargo ship that was extended to her current length just before the Second World War and was motorized with the current engine just after the Second World War. The forecastle and the deckhouse are authentic and, together with the old cargo hold, furnished for living on board, although somewhat spartan. She is a Historic Dutch Barge for which we are looking for an enthusiast new owner who wants to preserve this classic lady for the future. The traditional deckhouse is equipped with cupboards and there is a berth under the wheelhouse. Through the engine room you get into the "hold", which is furnished in a loft style with the galley, wood stove and a berth. The bathroom/toilet area is “work in progress” and can be furnished by a new owner to their own ideas. The forecastle has also traditional woodwork and is equipped with a berth. Living on a traditional Dutch Barge is a wonderful experience with this Live Aboard Dutch Barge, possibly at the current berth near Utrecht.
