Dutch Barge 17.00 Sold
Vision Doeve Brokers
Former inland shipping vessel that has been converted into a Live Aboard Barge. According to tradition, the ship was probably built in the 1920s - 1930s for timber transport in the Amsterdam region. She was converted into a recreational vessel during the 1960s. The carpentry in the ship is simple and has overdue maintenance. The propulsion is provided by a Kromhout-Gardner type 4-LW with hydraulic gear box. In the front of the ship there is the salon with the galley. In the stern are the toilet and a quarter berth with storage area. In the current set-up there are two folding beds, but there is enough space to re-decorate with fixed sleeping places. With her minimum headroom of approximately 1.90 meters and a headroom of approximately two meters, she is in our eyes a very attractive vessel with a lot of potential.
